Daniela Franco Brown is an Assistant Managing Editor for Education Week, leading coverage of race, opportunity, and equity. Prior to EdWeek, she was the equity and education editor for The Indianapolis Star in Indiana. She studied journalism, sociology, and Latin American Studies at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. She was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia.
